About

I earned a master’s degree in biochemistry from West Virginia University and, in the process, found that writing my thesis was my favorite part of the whole project. After spending eight years working in the biological laboratory, I began to copyedit as a volunteer for a nonprofit organization and a church. I am very often praised for my attention to detail and sought after to copyedit their written materials. My current specialization is copyediting scientific manuscripts, grant proposals, and theses, but I also do excellent work with promotional material for all types of organizations. When not reading or writing, I enjoy traveling.

I am a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association (EFA) and the American Copy Editors Society (ACES).
